Let there be Light

The kitchen pendant is up now and looking great hanging on its red fabric cable. Thanks again Muz for my house warming pressie - bought over a year ago and installed at last.

Its nice to know that sometimes fairy tales really do come true...

Artemide Light Fitting Installed

The Artemide Light fitting is now installed and is super bright. After months of cooking by only the undercabinet LED lights it was almost blinding to suddenly have the room illuminated by this up-down light.

Refurbishing the last set of shutters

All I can say is thank goodness there are only 3 sets of shutters in this flat and that the rear windows dont have them! Im on the last 4 panels now. I have completed their initial wood filler and sanding treatment, (both sides) their base coat (both sides), and their touch up wood filler and sanding (one side). Sounds a bit like getting a facial with all those steps. Just 2 more coats to go and they can be installed.
