We have finally completed our window restoration in the bedroom, bathroom and living room. All 5 windows had the following work done:
- Paint stripped internally
- Sash boxes repaired where required
- Re-painted (both inside and out)
- Draugh-proofed
- Exterior sills re-painted and sealed
- New window furniture installed (sash pulls & locks)
We still have the kitchen window to do, and the shutters to restore, but lets not think about that for now. Here are photos of the window furniture which went in today. You can see the draugh beads are working as our windows get fogged up when we have a shower so now we need to get in the habit of leaving the bathroom window cracked open a bit!
